St. Mary Medical Center will host the 6th annual “Jog for Joints: Promoting bone and joint health for a lifetime,” at 7:30 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 outside of the St. Mary Child Development Center on the St. Mary campus in Langhorne, Pa. This professionally timed 5K run/walk and orthopedic patient reunion walk of up to one mile celebrates the accomplishments of past joint-replacement patients and raises awareness of the comprehensive, advanced orthopedic services offered at St. Mary.
New this year, two-time Super Bowl Champion punter Sean Landeta and former Eagles stand-out linebacker Garry Cobb will be honorary team captains. Guests will be assigned teams and compete in categories such as team spirit and highest number of medals earned. Additionally, Hollis Thomas, former Eagles defensive tackle, Kyle Eckel, former Eagles fullback, and Barrett Brooks, former Eagles offensive tackle, are scheduled to attend the event and be available for photographs and autographs.
